ThroughLine will help you examine and define your professional journey – 10 years at a time – while giving yourself permission to change and grow. We take the mystery out of finding a mentor, building a network, and advocating for yourself in each decade, from your 20s to your 70s.

Generations are 20+ years “wide” and when we asked women about the labels, we couldn’t find anyone who felt like their label truly fit them. In fact, we found a lot of women who didn’t even know or like their generational labels at all.
A 20-year span is a lot to think about. But your 30s are your 30s. Your 50s are your 50s... and 10 years is a time period we can plan for and wrap our brains around.
We actually couldn’t find anything in our research that addressed career evolution and life progression in terms of decades. We found a lot on how the body and mind change, but what do we DO with that information? We want to offer a program that focuses on authenticity and gives participants permission to change and evolve as life changes and evolves.
ThroughLine is designed to build bridges across the decades to facilitate communication, conversation, learning, community and mentorship. We have designed environments so you don’t need to be a super networker to make this happen. We facilitate finding common ground with good humor and humility.

The purpose of this program is to create self awareness first and foremost. But once you have clarity and a healthy prism through which to see yourself, our deep belief is that by understanding others, achieving your goals and dreams is less hard (we are reluctant to say easy).
We believe deeply that women of any age would benefit from knowing and learning from the experiences of women of other decades. But our lives just don’t make that easy.
We also believe networking and mentoring relationships that create emotional safety, authenticity and honest exchange are elusive. By attending decade sessions outside of your own, you expand your understanding of the fears and challenges others face. You expand your own humanity. You build your confidence in what you offer to others.
ThroughLine aims to grow the power of community by stretching our understanding of each other and challenging our own biases and assumptions. This happens by putting yourself in conversations with people who are different from you.
With increased self-reflection and expanded understanding of others, this program will give you the skills to reach out – to those in your network both older and younger – who can offer their unique insights when you face challenges in your career development, or a problem that needs to be solved in your job or in life.
ThroughLine aims to grow the power of community by stretching our understanding of each other and challenging our own biases and assumptions. This happens by putting yourself in conversations with people who are different from you.
Our focus is on building trusting communication and understanding, which will naturally lead to the network that’s right for you. If you want, you will leave the program with a supportive community. Or, if you prefer, you can be silent within the community and still build skills and insight. There is no judgement.
Each participant’s experience should be authentic and valuable in their own way.
